Hello, friend.
I hope this story will bring you something good.

Actually, it is not the only one from me. At least I think so. Although I still don't know how to publish a serious story, it's definitely not the only one living in my head.

The sunset. That's what we've begun with. But the whole story hasn't started from it. It started from an air aid alert on the Thursday morning. But it's a whole different thing to tell. Dear reader, please, let me start somewhere else.

I look at the sunset. Most probably, I've seen it lots of times before. And at same time, I look at it for the first time.

The gigantic luminous star seemed to move around the sky every single day. Such a good reason to take it for granted, isn't it?

But now I guess, I see the sun. That sun that shines above all of us. Our crops grow, we feel the warmness of it. Oh, it's seemed so strange to just appreciate sun, to thank God for an ability to see it.

The sun goes down. Another day has almost passed. But what is done during it? 'Come on', I've said to myself, 'what have you been doing this beautiful day?'.

'Got up a bit moody. Spend some hours scrolling through my phone. Then had a fuss with a close one.'

Not a very nice list to be continued. The sun goes down, and so our life goes on. What are we doing living it?

Once the head of the house gets up and shuts the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock on the door, saying, ‘Lord, open up to us!’ then He will answer and say to you, ‘I do not know where you are from.’

Still, we are alive and we've got time.

I ran back to our place. Made piece with everyone and went to the bed promising to fall asleep without any feeling of dissatisfaction.

If the night goes by, there will be another day to live. And to be grateful. No time for complaints now.
