Discussion Questions: How could Steem/Steemit learn from the YouTube partner program? Should Steemit bring back advertising, accept payment in STEEM/SBD and share revenue with top content creators? Should Steemit bring back "promoted posts" and incentivize post promotion by offering prominent website placement? More generally, what would a "Steem Partner Program" look like?

I think Steemit is still Steemit, if Steemit is covered in ads, I really don't like it myself, how many people spend their internet quota just to watch ads and youtube content, while we don't get anything from it, they're just youtubers and the owners of profitable advertisements, while we ?. in steemit we are really appreciated for our quality content, they will hit the upvote button for quality content, and they are content creators and those who hit upvote, we are equally rewarded.

My opinion is: YouTube should be far from this panel, this is a social network in which people interact and we can say that we help each other, the votes have helped many people have a kind of salary, if YouTube enters, the ambition it could damage everything, it is always like that, it would no longer be mutual aid, it would be competition for money.

In Steemit, users should be able to place ads on their own pages in a way that does not disturb them, just like in blogspot. In order for the user to place ads on their own page, they must meet certain criteria. For example, having 10,000 SP.

Interesting concept. Thanks! And maybe people with a certain amount of SP could also receive free DNS subdomains for direct linking to their own blog page.

It’s not a consistent earning among all YouTube channels with that many subs. The CPM differs from channel to channel. Other factors like content type, percentage of views to subs, video length etc. all affect how much money a YouTuber can make.

Yep. Thanks for highlighting that. In the source articles, you see that it even differs among multiple channels for a single person. In particular, they noted that Marina Mogilko had three channels, and the one with the highest CPM (Silicon Valley Girl) had the lowest number of subscribers. I see that she has half a million subscribers now, but at the time of the article she had just 1/4 million.

A friend of mine made videos and uploaded them to YouTube. He earns a lot of money every month She is now a successful YouTuber.
The higher the number of subscribers, the better. More people like creating good content.
have you any YouTube channel dear friend?

Hi, I have a YouTube channel, but I rarely post anything. I shared the link because I think the Steem community could have a lot to learn from the successes of other social media platforms.
