Yes, here in Germany the star cluster is also good to see near the moon. We had a clear starry sky. Unfortunately, the moon was still very bright, so you had to cover the crescent a bit to see the faint stars next to it. :-)

Ja, bei uns in Deutschland ist der Sternhaufen auch gut in der Nähe des Mondes zu sehen. Wir hatten einen klaren Sternenhimmel. Leider war der Mond doch noch sehr hell, so dass man die Mondsichel etwas abdecken musste, um die schwachen Sterne daneben zu erkennen. :-)
