The Schrodinger's Cat Experiment And It's Implication(s) In Modern Physics

The quantum world according to theories appears to be notoriously self-contradictory and counterintuitive - defying common reasoning, thus challenging what we think we know about our Universe and no wonder there's today great turmoil in the scientific community as to the best way to describe the quantum processes - how a single quantum state comes from many quantum states. One interpretation suggests that influence/observation from the outside world causes the multiple quantum states to collapse to a single quantum state - Copenhagen interpretation, to show how absurd this interpretation was in the classical/macroscopic world, the Austrian theoretical physicist and father of modern quantum mechanics Erwin Schrodinger devised a thought experiment called the Schrodinger's cat experiment.
