Day after Christmas

Everyone is gone and I am still here alone. Yesterday was fun, It was a family reunion after 2 long years. Covid has now begun to settle down or I would rather say the fear of covid has begun to lessen.

We have now accepted covid as an uninvited guest. I think there is no point in fearing it. We should be a little careful, that's all. It was due to this uninvited guest my past year's Christmas was a lonely experience.

This Christmas things were somewhat normal. I have a big family of aunties and their children. Some of them visited us yesterday. One of my cousins stayed for the night. and left this morning. So here I am alone in the middle of my Christmas vacation.

Life is like that nothing lasts forever. Happiness and sadness keep changing over time. But I have good news after the vacation we have a school trip. It will be fun I will give updates about that later.
