Unfolding (Poem)

Once upon a time, it was the animal kingdom,
When animals lived on the leaves of our storybooks,
Tinkling our minds with the happening of the then dungeons,
And the more it lasted the more it faded;

Twice upon that time, it was the love garden,
When Romeo and Juliet littered the city with their sweet love tales,
Waiting always that the moon will light up their night seminars,
Filled with words that no man but love can really inspire;

Over times until now, it is the track record,
Of how our ships sailed across the deep blue and restless life,
And how our legacies trailed over the hearts and minds of many,
For a time, two times and more times to come again;

Time upon these times, it will all become timeless,
The whole earth will be outnumbered by dry dust and wet mud,
Nothing that mattered will matter anymore,
And the timeless timer will reset the hour clock.
