Mumbai Indians are considered to be the strongest team in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Led by Rohit Sharma, the team has won five IPL titles. So, by beating Delhi last year, they clinched the title for the second time in a row. Now they are going to enter the arena this year to celebrate the hat trick of the championship. Meanwhile, Mumbaikar and former India cricketer Sunil Gavaskar have given their opinion on what this year's IPL will look like for Mumbai.

Gavaskar said, "I think it will be very difficult to beat Mumbai Indians. We’ve seen the players on this team get ready. Ishaan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav have abandoned their form. The players in the Mumbai Indians who have played in the T20 and ODI series against England have shown that they are in a good mood. ”

Gavaskar also spoke about Hardik Pandya, who recovered from injury and performed well against England. "Hardik Pandya is now able to bowl 9 overs. The World Cup will be held in June. There is time for this tournament, but Hardik's performance is good for Mumbai and Indian cricket, ”said Gavaskar.

Hardik's return

Hardik was not able to bowl due to back pain. However, two years later he bowled in the T20 series against England. He took 3 wickets for 17 overs in the series. Hardik could not bowl in the first two matches of the ODI series against England. However, he bowled well in the decisive match and contributed to India's victory.

Defending champions Mumbai will play their first match against Royal Challengers Bangalore on April 9 in Chennai.
