Goats are mammals belonging to the Bovidae family and the genus Capra. Goats are intelligent and social animals, living in herds and often exhibiting hierarchical behavior. They are known to have good climbing abilities, even on steep cliffs. The distinctive sound of goats, called bleating, is used to communicate with other goats or with humans.
In various cultures, goats have an important role. In Islam, goats are often used as sacrificial animals on Eid al-Adha. In addition, goats also have high economic value. Goat milk, for example, is considered easier to digest than cow's milk and is rich in nutrients. Goat meat, known as a source of protein, is also widely consumed in various countries.
With its extensive benefits, goats are animals that contribute greatly to human life, both economically, culturally, and even in terms of survival in difficult areas. This makes goats very valuable and multifunctional animals.
