Swallowing More than 305 Million Budget, Touring a Big Motorcycle for 15 Years of Peace in Aceh Hurts Feelings of Conflict Victims
BANDA ACEH, Acehnese people were shocked by the circulation of a letter from the Aceh Regional Secretary, dr. Taqwallah, M. Kes, dated August 7, 2020, addressed to 10 Regents / Mayors in Aceh to facilitate the security of the Big Indonesian Motor Association (IMBI) Touring Moge / Motorbike route.
The letter was made in order to follow up on the Letter of the Chairperson of the Aceh Reintegration Agency (BRA) Sayed Fakhrurrazi dated June 5, 2020 in order to commemorate 15 Years of Aceh peace.
The agenda for the 15th anniversary of Aceh Peace is filled with carrying out the "Aceh Peace Day Tour" in collaboration with IMBI starting from 12 to 14 August 2020.
The event, which took 3 days, started initially from Kuala Simpang and finished at the Pidie Jaya Regent's Office.
The Touring budget uses funds sourced from the APBA with a fantastic amount of Rp. 305. 663,796, including for the participant's fuel worth more than 52 million, for documentation of 30 million printed shirts, placards, banners and billboards, it cost around 110 million.
Meanwhile, for airplane tickets and lodging, participants spend a budget of over 48 million and for car rental worth 24 million.
The allocation of funds of 305 million for touring Motor Gede in the framework of the 15th anniversary of Aceh Peace was considered inappropriate and hurt the feelings of conflict victims in Aceh.
