Depok Residents Permitted to Hold a Festival, This is the Requirement
Residents of the City of Depok, West Java are now allowed to hold a celebration. "In Depok Mayor Regulation No. 49 of 2020, one of them regulates circumcision activities and wedding celebration activities have begun to be allowed," said Depok Mayor Mohammad Idris, Monday (27/7).
The regulation regulates what is permissible or not. For example there may not be direct physical contact such as greetings and hugs both between the organizer, guests and your guests. The invitation quota is limited to 50 people in every 1 hour.
"If you use an open tent / outdoor set 50 percent of capacity. If you use a building / closed space set 30 percent of capacity," he added.
Organizers may not hold a buffet. Food must be provided in a box or take away. Residents are also required to use masks, maintain a minimum physical distance of 1.5 meters and prepare a washing area with soap or hand sanitizer.
"To accommodate arts workers during the Covid-19 period, entertainment activities accompanying circumcision celebrations or marriages are allowed by taking into account health protocols and applicable norms," he said.
With regard to information circulating related to the opening of entertainment activities, his party emphasized that the intended entertainment activities are entertainment that accompanies circumcision celebrations or weddings and cultural arts festivals on a small scale. This is intended to revive the activities of art workers who have not been active for several months.
"If there is a non-compliance with the applicable regulations, we will conduct surveillance and control. Let's positively interpret cultural arts as a treasure of national cultural wealth, we can choose and sort out cultural arts in accordance with applicable norms," he concluded.
