That Thing on the Wall, by John Deecken
Original hand painted acrylic on 24" x 30" stretched canvas, gallery-wrapped 2.5" thick stretcher bars with beige sides. Artist signed on the side. I didn't wire this for hanging because I want to be able to rotate it as needed to any of the four possible orientations. The wood stretcher bars allow the piece to easily be hung on a nail.
People see stuff in these abstracts which I do not see myself. What I see in it won't necessarily be what you might see.. particularly under low-light conditions. Several of the photos of the painting are in natural light so that you can see the true colors.
I used a lot of thicker paints and varnishes.. so this has a very lush almost wet look with a lot of texture.
No brush was used on the painting.. just my secret technique!
