Cubes are late this week. War and all.
Normally I post these cube paintings on the night of when I teach this class, which is Tuesday, but that time this week we were in the thick of battle and posting some random cube paintings didn't feel right.
This week we were painting different materials having to do with earth and soil. The two demos I finished were of a dry cracked ground and treebark.
In this lesson I cover how to create custom brushes to help paint tedious patterns faster while keeping things looking organic and random.
With both of these the approach is similar. Working big to small, broad to specific, loose to detailed.
The cubes with more texture are the most fun for me personally. So this week was pretty fun.
I'm super ready for this war to be over. Hopefully we can reach a resolution soon. See you all in the next post!

I think we could have used a light hearted break in the middle of the war, or maybe4 that's just me XD
I missed my Tuesday update as well but it was on ko-fi rather than here, too distracted an irritated in my case.
The tree cube looks awesome :D And so does mud cube, looks like it's going to collapse if you poke it XD
@midlet, In my opinion here you gave these Cubes very interesting Observation and whole new Transformational Dimensions. Stay blessed.
