Tasty Mango Mousse!
Friends, we continue to take care of ourselves in health. This opportunity I have this refreshing and very tasty dessert following the month of the father; I prepared a really divine "Mango Mousse", following the seasonal fruit in my country Venezuela. I hope you like it! and continue to pamper the King of the house.
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 ripe mango, 2 egg whites, 1/2 cup of sugar, 1 cup of water, 2 tablespoons of powdered milk, 1 tablespoon of cornstarch, 1 tablespoon of unflavored gelatin.
PREPARATION:
STEP 1
- Wash and peel the mango, cut it into pieces and liquefy it until turning it into pulp and we reserve it.
Note: when cutting the mango, we must reserve a small amount to decorate. - Bring the cup of water to the fire and add the powdered milk and reserve as well.
STEP 2
- Beat the egg whites to the point of sighing, and bring the milk back to the fire with the mango pulp, stirring constantly, then add the sugar, gelatin and cornstarch and finally the whites until stiff, mix with enveloping movements.
STEP 3
- Serve to taste in a mold or individually and refrigerate for an hour and decorate with chopped mango and lemon leaves.
