WEEKLY COOKING CONTEST WEEK#05: MY VERSION OF CEBUANO'S BAM-I GUISADO
Good day steemians!
As part of our daily chores and routine is to prepare foods for our loved ones. Today, I prepared a dish for them that is an all time favorite of most filipinos especially the kids, my version of Bam-i Guisado. I am going to share with you this recipe of mine as I want to take part of the contest initiated by @sabbirrr entitled "Weekly Cooking Contest Week#05: Share your Cooking Experience".
So let's get started!
These are the list of ingredients:
- 1/2 kilo dried pancit canton noodles
- 1/2 kilo rice noodles (sotanghon)
- 200 grms fried pork meat
- 1 carrots (cut into strips)
- 1 red bell pepper (cut into strips)
- 1/2 cabbage (cut into strips)
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 onion (minced)
- 1 stalk sring onions (cut into small}
- 4 cups of water
- 1 tbsp cooking oil
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- black pepper
- magic sarap
Easy way in preparing and cooking Bam-i Guisado:
- Soak the rice noodles (sotanghon) with water.
- Pre-heat pan and put cooking oil on it.
- Saute onion and garlic.
- Add soy sauce.
- Add the fried pork meat and mix.
- Add water and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add the rice noodles (sotanghon soaked in water) and mix.
- Add the dried pancit canton noodles and mix again.
- Add the red bell pepper and carrots. Mix.
- Add the cabbage and mix.
- Then lasty, add the spring onion and continue mixing.
- It's done! Bam-i Guisado is now ready to serve and eat!
