Hello fellow steemians. Hope all are fine, safe and healthy.

When boredom strikes we really have to think of ways how to entertain ourselves. Even crazy things, we do it just to ease our boredom. But us, (my family) we came up with an idea to go to a place where we can relax and the same time stroll. We decided to go to one of the tourist attraction here in our place. The historical place, The Mactan Shrine. The Mactan Shrine was where the battle happened between the Portuguese explorer Ferdinand Magellan and Mactan island chieftain Lapu Lapu. Located at Punta, Engaño, Mactan Lapu-lapu City, Cebu, Philippines.

As we headed there, we decided to just walk nalang since it’s just a walking distance lang naman from our home. I took pictures to buildings we passed.

When we arrived at the entrance of The Mactan Shrine, we saw dozens of people roaming around the place. There were groups having their zumba session with their color of the day outfit.

Sometimes I go along with them because of their music that was very lively. There were also having their solo exercise and jogging.

Since we are here, I grabbed the opportunity to take a photo of what is in the Mactan Shrine.

And the rest of our time, we just enjoyed ourselves by taking pictures and roaming around the area. We went to the shore to see the mangroves and shallow water.

So this was how my family took our break. Though tired but we enjoyed much.
