My experience at the hospital 👩🔬👩🏼⚕️
Greetings, my fellow Steemians 😁 welcome to my blog; it's your friend @woka-happiness; I'm here to share with you all my experience at work today; working in the hospital is not easy at all; having to see a lot of things like death or accident victims.
So today I woke up late due to the stress from the previous day, I had having headache and because of that I didn't sleep well, that was the reason why I didn't wake up early, but I was still able to prepare quickly and went to the hospital, where I'm doing my practical.
Because I was not able to wake up early enough, and I was also in a hurry I did not even pray which was very bad, I knew that I didn't pray but continued with my preparation for work, this was because in the hospital where I'm doing my practical, we always do early morning devotion before work starts.
I knew that I shouldn't have used that as an excuse for not praying before leaving the house, and what happened in the hospital gave me more reasons why I should never repeat such a mistake in my life.
Well, as usual, I'm always in the laboratory because that is where we are supposed to be, except our services are needed in the ward; the laboratory unit is a bit far from the ward, so most times, we only go to the ward to collect specimens or samples.
It was almost closing hours when some accident victims were brought to the hospital and they were involved in a very terrible accident. This made me weak, and I realized how lucky I am because my neighbor who Left the house this morning was part of the accident victims.
What I'm trying to say here is that we should try to thank God for our lives, apart from this incident last night a guy lost his life right after being transfused, he was a sickle cell patient and was in need of blood so he came to the hospital with someone who would donate blood for him along with some of his friends.
After he was transfused, he sat down outside the laboratory and chatted and laughed with his friends and a few minutes later he fell and fainted, he was rushed to be OPD immediately but unfortunately he lost his life.
I thought about all this happening in almost one day💔😔 Thank God the accident victims were well taken care of, although my neighbor was in a very terrible condition but I trust he is going to be fine by God's grace.
