Straight Forward
As I visited SBL today it looked empty, is it abandoned?
Where are the moderators and the mod-reports?
Since It feels since weeks I am the only one moderating I decided to give up on it. To give up on the moderator reports not on those who post.
There's a huge lack of comments in this community. Is it the dumping place for posts or does no one care and is reaching out to a few other Steemians too much asked? It sounds strange after all those lectures about home, respect and caring I read. I hope all those who post will change and start interacting.
Imagine... What will happen if you haven't made a single friend and there are no longer upvotes from SCs? Did this scenario ever cross your mind?
Instead of leaving a moderator report I read the entries from today and a few from yesterday and left a comment where I also added a note about the post, hashtags and club status if it changed. Indeed these comments are not as long as many others I write but I hope they will be read (unlike the moderator reports) and we can start to engage. If in your opinion I suck feel free to talk to someone else!
I bumped into the video above. The title is: The Dutch don't say sorry which is misleading (if you are not able to see this video you might find another one).
Do Dutch people never say sorry? We have the word "sorrie" but only say it if we mean it, it's not something we say to be polite or to get rid of a nagging person. Dutch people like to know someone's opinion and don't like to hear "I don't know", "you decide" and so on.
Back to "sorry" we also have the expression "het spijt mij" or "het spijt mij heel erg".
For sure there are Dutch people saying every few minutes "sorry" because they are insecure and there's a group tiptoeing through life because they are bullied, molested or try to crawl into someone's arse. Harsh? Can be according to your standards but at least you know you hear the truth.
Are younger people less direct?
I doubt it but it might depend on where you are and if so the reason can be the increase of foreigners who look dishonestly to us because they don't look into our eyes if they talk and avoid giving a straight answer. So if you wonder why you are distrusted, now you know.

This is something I am surprised to learn today from your post. Maybe it's because I often have to fight my nature and desire to say things as they are, which has often given me headaches professionally when dealing with German or English natives.
Just recently I found out that this so-called "rudeness" is also typical for other peoples from Eastern Europe, it's not just me, it's not just Bulgaria either, but also Poland, for example. So, imagine how, from one end of the continent to the other, there are some peoples who are alike in one little thing, while they are divided by a thousand other circumstances. 😃Could we get along well or not?..
Well, ok, I know this is not the main topic of your post, but I felt the urge to note my amazement at this discovery.😁

Of course, we can get along!
There's not even a need to agree. What counts is you know someone's opinion which is what I can work and live with.
It's good to hear there are more people like us (us as in you and me) 😁
I don't call it rude but honest and we all know the last thing people like to hear is the truth. In my experience the truth isn't heard if you wrap it up in sweet words. For sure we think differently, it's what I notice here as well. Those who lie can't understand how you recognize them, not even if you explain. 🤯
If it comes to the truth with us they say: and drunk, children and crazy people speak the truth (fine with me if they call me crazy) but also do autists and many others.
🍀♥️
P. S. No need to comment about the main topic only.
What about me?
