RE: Coffee Time, A #comment to @wakeupkitty.pal's Post

in STEEM FOR BETTERLIFE13 days ago (edited)

It is true that unlike what the Steemit Team wants most SCs do reward comments actively and the proof will be shown. The question is: Why not since without good comments there is no action and no information will be shared? A lot of nonsense is spread which shows if you visit communities and scroll through the posts. Have a look at the posts and the comment count. Most of those are empty or an auto-reply from a witness or some bot. This means it does take time to find the commenters although it doesn't take that much if you are a commenter yourself. Look at me. I comment and you comment so that makes two and if I look further I see who replies you, me and so on. It's really not that difficult. Perhaps the wrong people curate, they lack experience and the word "freedom" is enough reason to ignore the few rules set like: rewarding comments and looking for "hidden gems"?

If it comes to longer comments.. you can do as I do and if you answer or comment and it will get longer simply copy that text and make a post out of it. Next you leave in the comment section the link to your comment.
I did that a few times and will do it again especially if I run out of time. I agree it's hard to post if you start commenting. It's better to let that be and only reply/comment after you post (unless you can use a comment).

I wonder if coffee, a break is still enjoyed if we keep multitasking doing things in between, continue to work and keep typing on our phone. I know that if I only drink my tea without doing something else I relax and smell and taste the tea more. If I work it's a swallow in between and frequently my tea is cold which I actually hate.

Noise 8n the post can be indication that it get many attention. But I must admin thatake a long koment such as a post make me try to tell with arrange many sentences.
When you see a post getting attention from lots of comments, it means there is a buzz that attracts attention. The frequency of conversations and mutual comments shows that readers are making good contact and communication. The opinions of the commentators, both pros and cons, are valid. However, the positive side is that there is two-way communication so that it really feels like a big family. yes, the big Steemit family. Things like this should be paid attention to by the curators. and I'm sure SC's gave the mandate to carry it out with full responsibility. Even though you can also use the pretext of freedom, you still have to show good accountability. If this is done well then I am sure it will have a positive impact on all parties

It is hard to find commenters. The entire month we searched. Indeed it's hard for me because I cannot upvote myself and I comment with more than one account. Also as a moderator and SC07. We noticed that the other SCs rarely upvote comments although this is a rule set by the Steemit Team.

The way to attract readers and more commenters? It works everywhere the same. you need a topic people like to talk about, one they are not scared to give their opinion (many turn out to be afraid) or you need to make people angry. Angry people will respond. Next to that we have the keyboard heroes who for sure will show up if they can complain, scold or make their voice visible.

Every month there are different curators and the new teams will be divided among the steemcurator accounts available so these people are rarely the same. Next to that there are new cutors who have no idea where to look and if they rarely read or comment... I believe you have your answer.

Looking for good comments is of course the same as looking for a classy post. a responsibility that requires hard work. while there are not many steemians who comment well. Indeed, discussing topics that trigger visa debates can be a way for many people to comment. However, on the other hand there can also be fear. I still remember when there was a debate I wanted to express my opinion. I expressed my opinion impartially but then I was downvoted, and the impact was that every comment I gave would end in a downvote. Those were the times when downvotes became a trend. that made me choose not to do anything. however, now it is much different. Our job as fellow steemian is just to stimulate and share comments so that the atmosphere can be much more lively.
And we know that some curators see and also find the comment to be cirated.
For unread curators or new curator must be active to find it so they can do their task well.
