I don't think it is about being grateful. Grateful is a killer. The forced upon happiness one should feel because someone else's life sucks more or the killer phrase " it's better to be poir and healthy ad wealthy and and in bad heakth".

It's about awareness and to reach that point we need life experiences to find out what is impirtant to us.

What comforts and works for me does not necessary work for you.

You achieved something like free weekends fir you and your family. Not many achieve(d) that. To me that sounds like a luxery. The kind of luxury that's hard to buy just like friendship, love and peace of mind.
