Diary Game||Shopping With My Cousin

Good morning fellow steemians @steembetterlife , it's a blessed and a happy new year to y'all,today I want to be sharing my diary on 4th January 2025 themed "Shopping With My cousin".

Y'all know that this festive period ,"end of the year and a beginning of a new year".It is always the best moment of every humans life ,not only because of the celebration but giving thanks to God Almighty for his protection and keeping us alive to see a new year and also the coming together of families and friends to cross over to a new year is always the most amazing thing during this period.

My saying is that before crossing over to the new year ,my grandfather from my maternal home always call out to his children and grandchildren and other family relatives to come celebrate with him during the new year . So it's always fun at our side because I'll be chance to meet with my cousin that I wasn't able to see for a long time.

They whole gist started from waking up early in the morning, thanking God for his mercies and protections , after that I went out to do some house chores and then find something and eat , then after that going to the stream with my cousin and his friend to wash some clothes, so while we were at the my cousin stream, my cousin told me that we should be quick about the washing that I'll be escorting him to town where we've a very big market to buy some stuffs , like clothing,body cream, shoes and others

After we were done washing our clothes with also took our baths at the stream,so that immediately we reached the house it's just for us to dry our washed clothes and rinse our body with a fresh water and start going out for shopping. After we were done bathing at the stream we packed our belongings which we've already arranged before bathing and start going home.

So as we reached the house,I dried my clothes which my cousin also dried his clothes as well, so I went to the bathroom to rinse myself because of sands on my body, so after that I went in to rubbed cream on my body and wear my cloth also along side with my cousin . After we finished dressing up me and my cousin went to Stanley's house, which is my cousin's friend but though Stanley is kinda related to us .

So after everything the three of us head to the highway to find motorcycle that'll be carrying us to the junction to enter tricycle to uyo for shopping but while waiting at the highway we couldn't find means easily ,we had to branch one villager compound whose house is at the road side to greet and wait at her compound for bike , so while waiting I took some pictures

So after waiting for about 30mins to 45mins it was getting late already and we've to reach uyo and buy things and come back before 8 pm because when it's late ,we won't see bike easily at the junction and the price that we'll be charged will be too much.

After waiting for long not quite long we saw a bike man who was heading to our destination and we stopped and he agreed to carry us ,so he told us that he'll be collecting 1500 naira for the three of us , though tge price was high but we had no option but to pay him .

So as we reached ekem junction,we also entered Keke(tricycle)that was heading to itam , from Ekem junction to itam is 500 naira per one person,so the three of us entered and the Keke rode us to itam right away. As we reached itam we were abit hungry,we had to branch a nearby restaurant to eat .

As we entered the restaurant , we asked the sales girl the kind of soup they had and she told us that they've,afang soup,egusi soup and okra soup,so my cousin ordered for afang soup and I ordered for egusi soup while Stanley ordered for afang as well .

The restaurant food palatable though but I'm don't fancy eating at the restaurant but it insisted by my cousin though that he's hungry and I felt hungry as well though so I decided to join him and his friend and it happened the three of us ordered the food.so after we were done eating our bills was just 4500 naira with extra plate of 1500 naira , making it 6000 naira, so my cousin paid the bills.

After we were done eating we trekked to itam market side to enter vehicle that was going to plaza , and it happens that on the way my cousin saw an mp 3 player that he liked and the sound,bass of the mp 3 player was so given, so we branched and asked the price of mp 3 player and the price was 35 ,000 naira .

my cousin didn't want that mp 3 to slip off and it mp 3 wasn't on our budget, so I had to asked the seller the last price of the mp 3, and the seller told us that he'll be selling it lastly at the rate of 30,000 naira only .So I supported my cousin with 10,000 and my cousin collected it and joined with his 20,000 naira making it 30,000 naira to pay the seller . So finally we've a new sound system at home with quality sounds producing and bass

After we were done with the payment we moved on looking for Keke That's heading to break to ibom plaza and luckily we break Keke to ibom plaza to buy other stuffs, so as we reached plaza ,I have my vendors that I usually buy clothes from and I took them to him. As we reached there , my cousin bought 3 trousers worthing 20,000 naira each , with 2 shirts of 15,000 naira each , Stanley also bought 2 short jeans worthing 16,000 naira ,with 2 sleeveless top worthing 4500 naira each and also he bought 1 shirts of 15,000 naira. Me I was just the smallest boy 😂😁😩 so I don't have money like them , but i still buy something though , so I bought 2 jeans same with my cousin and 1 sleeveless with 2 shirts and that was all for clothes .

After we were done buying clothes, I told my cousin that he should come escorts me at one supermarket that's just close by that I want to buy my cream and other stuff,so they escorted me to the supermarket . As I entered the supermarket I went to the shelf that body cream is kept, so I took my cream and perfume to use and smell nice after bathing , after that i went to side that soap is kept and also to the shelf that bread is kept to buy it for grand parents,so that we'll all use it with tea the next day to church

After I was done buying things I went straight to the casher to make payment and start going back to the village,so we break Keke again that we'll be dropping us at uruakpa though at this point way we be taking back changed because was a bit closer than using itam side and cheaper, so as we reached uruakpa we paid the some 450 nair for the of us and from uruakpa we took vehicle that was going back to ekem junction.

Though it was getting late already and we waited for awhile before finding means to ekem and we were charged 400 naira for each person from uruakpa to Ekem junction, so as we reached ekem junction luckily we saw a villager with his motorcycle and he charged us 400 naira for each of us making it 1200 naira for the three of us

So after the whole stress we came back home safely and I gave God Almighty the whole glory for the protections , after I dropped my stuff I took the bread to my grandma for the next day and she told that me and my cousin should go to the kitchen and carry our food which I ate anf took my bath and after i was dome bathing i went to the bed and slept off . And my day was fun Sha with cousin and his friend.
