Me and my bae

It was a beautiful Sunday morning. What makes me say it was a beautiful morning is because there was no rain, compared to the previous days. We had a chained rainfall throughout last week and that wasn't good for my health. I hate cold weather. it's makes my day dull and unproductive too. So was super excited when I knew today will be different.

So waking up today with such a sunny day makes it an unforgettable experience/blessing. I love it when the Sun shine on my face and lift my mode. I was woken by my alarm on my phone. I went outside and saw that the sky was clear of clouds then I knew it was going to be sunny. I had to start planning for my day. Today is supposed to be a fun filled day. I had a plan of going out with my girlfriend after church service. When I told her about it she was so excited. I don't know what makes women love dates so much but I know it makes them happy.

I headed to the bathroom to do the needful, which is bathing, brushing my teeth and grooming for the day. I will attend church service before going out with my Beyonce. Ok. Before I forget my girlfriend is also here on steemit her username is @joycefrank.

Let me do a little confession. I love black women and my girlfriend is just the right specification. She's apparently my type of woman and I'm fond of her long nose. She's my Rihanna in disguise. I sincerely love her.

Back to my plan for the day. I got dressed in my corporate shirt and pant trousers. Made sure I was looking dashing since today a great day. I now headed to my church which is just a stone throw from my apartment. The service had already commenced before I got there. Everything was in place. The preacher's topic was wisdom and knowledge. He talked about being steadfast in the application of knowledge and wisdom, which is not possible without understanding. Understanding and application of wisdom and knowledge is what makes us stand out from people who just listen without applying it. The church service was approximately two and a half hours. When we dismissed I bade my fellow church members farewell. Headed back home filled and fulfilled in all round. I was so happy because of the outing. I went back home to change my pant trousers to a skinny jeans and my sleek lace up shoes to a sneaker.
My girlfriend is residing in Oron road by Timber junction while I reside in Udo Usanga street off Ikpa road all in Uyo metropolis.

After changing to a casual wear I now went and flagged down a tricycle heading to Plaza. Before doing this I had already called my Rihanna and told her to start moving, that I'm on my way already. I was a little nervous, though sober. I was well prepared. It's been long we saw each other. It was almost a year. I will get my best hug and probably see her beautiful smile again.

I arrived the plaza before her so I had to wait for her a little bit since her place was quite far from mine. We finally met. She was well dressed and looking sexy.
Exchanged pleasantries, had a warm hug then headed to Aka road walking side by side and holding hands. I won't lie I was excited seeing her once again after a couple of months or almost a year. She's a busy lady. She's a teacher and I'm an artist. We're both busy person's, so when we meet like this, we make it fun filled.

On getting to Aka road we boarded a bus heading to Udo Udoma roundabout. Got down in the roundabout and took a tricycle heading to Ibom Tropicana. A mall. A very large mall, where we would literally spend the day.

Lucky enough it was Ibom Fashion week show, so we saw some model doing practice for the D-Day. The mall is one of the largest mall in the City. We were confused of which eatery to patronize, because we have almost all the eateries in town there. From Kilimanjaro, Cold stone(Damingos), Food affairs, Country style, Crunchies to De choice and others too numerous to mention.

She then said she prefers De choice. We now got there, it was upstairs so we had to use the elevator. We went to the counter, bought a carton of milk and a plastic bottle of coca cola. Got a sit by the corner. We had a chit chat while drinking. When we were done drinking and chatting we decide to stroll around the mall and take pictures for memories before going back home.
We kissed, hugged each other and held hands while leaving the mall. We parted ways to our different destination. But the memories still lingers. I pray to dream of her tonight. We're the Bonnie and Clyde of our time. I miss her already.

life is beautiful and loving and being loved is a beautiful experience. Joyce I love you. I can't wait to see you again. I can't wait to have you all to myself for the rest of my life.
