My Entry For Travel Contest - Have You Been Here : Aftabganj Mosque- "A Mosque Inspired by the Taj Mahal"

Today I will tell you about a beautiful mosque in Bangladesh which is located in Aftabganj of Dinajpur district. It is known as Aftabganj Central Jame Mosque. The mosque is located in Nawabganj upazila, which is about 26 kilometers away from our home. It is very close to Shopnopuri amusement park.

Why do you like the place?
A mosque is a symbol of purity and holiness. It is a place of worship where Muslims gather and worship Allah with a deep heart. A mosque is one of the holiest places in the world. It is the best place to purify the soul through worship of one Allah and repent for one's sins and ask for forgiveness from Allah. And that is why I like such mosques. But I especially like this mosque because it carries a tradition of our district.

I would never have believed that such a beautiful and eye-catching mosque existed in our district if I had not seen it for myself, and the magnificent structures of my own neighborhood would have been unknown. And this mosque is designed after the Taj Mahal in Agra, India. This mosque appeals to me because of its local tradition, aesthetic craftsmanship, beautiful architecture, and religious significance.
What public facilities are available there so that visitors feel comfortable?
Aftabganj Central Jame Mosque is located in a popular place. This mosque is located in a place that is easily accessible for everyone. Many people travel to the best amusement park in North Bengal, Shonopuri, via the road adjacent to the mosque. You can visit two tourist attractions in a short period of time because they are both nearby.

Although it is a place of worship for Muslims, everyone will get a chance to visit this mosque. It is a modern mosque with three floors and about 5000 Muslims can offer prayers here at once. It is really a wonderful facility to have so many people offering prayers together in a mosque.
How much does it cost, tickets or anything to visit the place?

Aftabganj central jame mosque is one of the most beautiful mosques I have seen. It is built in the style of Taj Mahal, so it attracts visitors. However, for a Muslim, it is a sacred place, not because of its beauty, but rather a place to immerse oneself in the worship of one ALLAH and to invite everyone to the mosque. However, a person of a different religion also has the opportunity to know Islam.

In addition to enjoying the beauty of the mosque, you will get the opportunity to know the beauty of Islam and the heart-touching messages of Islam from any devout Muslim here. I have come to know that there is a library and seminar on the ground floor of the mosque. I think there will be an opportunity to know a lot about Islam from here too. All in all, it can be an educational tour for a tourist. And so I recommend everyone to visit this mosque.
