Diary game: Fitness session and work (10th august 2024)

Hello steem family, it's been a while since I last updated you on my fitness journey.
A very good friend of mine reached out to me and asked, “@skinnyblack I hope you have not discontinued your fitness routine”.

I smiled and said “do you remember what we said about consistency?”.

She said,”I perfectly remember” and then she adds “I draw so much motivation from you”

Doesn't it feel so good to know how much a motivation I am to someone else?

To be truthful, I love that I am a source of motivation. It's a beautiful thing to give careful attention and consideration to one's health and exercise/staying fit is a good way to go.

So these past few days have not been so much of a rollercoaster ride. My morning fitness routine normally starts by 6:30am. It takes me approximately 20 mins to get to my workout venue, that means I have to leave my house at about 6:00 am. To leave my house by that time means I have to wake up much earlier and get prepared.

Who else finds it hard waking up that very early to start a day's routine? Lately this has been a factor, but with the aid of good friends, I have been able to gently overcome this issue.

So yesterday was one of my best days at the fitness center. The features of yesterday's session included step board, abdominals and Tabatha.

Who said the step board was that easy? We literally stepped our legs out😂. The step board exercise has various patterns to follow and trust me it was quite very very interesting. With the step board exercise, you can burn out unwanted fats in unwanted places and build the general body physique.

The Tabatha session is also a great one. Our ever ready coach never gets tired at all. A moment you should be working out and you're not, my coach is already close, to ginger you up. We still did the tabata with the aid of the step board.

The music rhythm that goes alongside makes the process so much fun and interesting. At one point, I realized that dancing is a good form of exercise. Of Course for the fun of it, we included dancing to a music rhythm in our session.

It was time for abdominals!!! This is never easy. The plank, situp, and various other exercises performed on the mat were carried out. At this time my energy and ATP was running out, I took a good amount of water and I felt better to continue working out.

Abdominals took about 30 minutes. I could feel the pains down my abdomen as if some fat had been sucked out. This was good. I'm also working on a good meal routine and avoiding late night meals.

Work out session was over and I retired to my house. I still had to report at work that morning so I immediately freshened up to leave. I didn't have enough time to eat so I left that way.

I got to work on time, I immediately had to order something to eat because I was very hungry.

I attended to quite a number of patients in the pharmacy. It was a good day at work. When my shift was over, I went back home to spend the evening at home and take care of house chores.

It is wonderful to see your dedication and enthusiasm @skinnyblack 💜 and don't be too hard on yourself... you are definitely not the only person who battles with getting up early and especially in the freezing cold winter!! 😂🥶

I too, was doing so well in the Summer time, but as the colder weather started creeping in and the mornings darker, I started getting really lazy haha!!

I need to get out of my comfort zone again too!
