By God's grace I am fine. The rainy season has come. Friends, the fun of eating khichuri on a rainy day is different. It is well understood by the people of village Bengal. It has started raining heavily since this morning. Heavy clouds in the sky. Nature is dressed in a different way.Cold wind is blowing. Most of the months of Ashadha-Shravan are rainy. Thay ar nahire ogo today tora jasane outside the house. Monsoon showers are pouring all day long, fields are filling canals with water. On such a day, it is raining heavily.Sometimes thunder is heard. There is no play festival in the field. Drizzling rain has enhanced the green beauty of the distant Kadam trees. Anyway today on this rainy day I made Khichuri for my family.
First I have prepared the ingredients for cooking Khichuri.
Khichuri ingredients:
rice.
Dal.
Green chillies.
onion.
garlic.
Dry chili powder.
Coriander powder.
Garam masala powder.
turmeric powder.
salt.
Cumin batter.
Garam masala batter.
the oil.
Raw Chilli Onion Garlic Dry Chilli Powder Cumin Powder, Garam Masala Bata, Coriander Powder, Garam Masala Powder Turmeric and Salt I have taken as per quantity.
Heat oil in a pan, add all the spices one by one and saute for some time, add rice dal and saute for some more time.
Meanwhile, I put water in a pressure cooker on another stove. When the water boils, I put the grated dal rice inside and put a lid on it. After some time the khichuri was ready. Then I fried the eggs.
Now I fried cucumber, onion, lemon, green pepper, egg and served the khichuri.
But the khichuri is very tasty. I usually eat meat. Fried hilsa, khichuri and fried eggplant. But today I did it a little differently. Dim Bhana Khichuri. But it's been a lot of fun. And since it's a rainy day.
