Assalam O Alaikum.

Hello everyone i hoped you are all doing well.I am currently pursuing my dream of becoming a cardiologist and have entered my third semester in cardiology studies recently i began my internship at Mardan Medical Complex is an exciting step in my journey. In this post i want to share my diary of this experiences and take you along with me as i navigates my first few days at the hospital.

Starting My Internship at Mardan Medical Complex.

The first day of my internship are filled with excitements curiosity and a little bit of nervousnes i began my day with a prayer seeking guidance and blessings from Allah to help me perform my duties well and learn as much as i can. It was a new chapter in my life and i wanted to start it right.

After my morning prayer i got ready and made my way to Mardan Medical Complex its felt special to be walking into a hospital not a visitor but an intern. I knew that experiences would be challenging but it would also be an important step toward my goal of becoming a cardiologist.

Once i reach the hospital first thing i did the report to my supervisors office it was a moment that made me feel both excited and a little nervous because it is the start of some thing new. As i walked in the office one thing that caught my eye was a picture of Quaid e Azam the founder of Pakistan hanging on the wall. Seeing his picture filled me with a sense of prides and determinations. Its reminded me for his words about hard work and perseverance which gave me extra motivation to do my best during this internship.

After meetings with my supervisors i was directed to cardiology lab where i would be spending the next few weeks the cardio lab is where patients come to get their hearts checked through various tests and i was excited to learn more about the procedures and equipments used in this department. I will spend one week in each department within the cardiology lab which will allow me to get a well rounded understanding of the different aspects of heart care.

During my first week i had the opportunitys to spend a day in the ECG (Electrocardiogram) room this was fascinating experiences because i got to see how the hearts electrical activity is measures and recorded the ECG is a simple but important test that help doctors diagnose heart problems and i was eager to learn how to read the results. The technicians were kind and patient with me explaining how the machine work and how place the electrode correctly on the patients chest.It was a hands on learning experience and i felt like i was taking my first real steps into the world of cardiology.

I know this internship will be full of new experienced and challenges but i am excited about every part of it beings in the hospital every day seeing real patients and learning from experienced doctors and technicians is an incredible opportunities. I am eager to continues my journey and make the most out of this internship each departments in the cardiology lab has some thing unique to offer and i am looking forwards to gaining new knowledge and skills that will brings me closer to becoming a cardiologist.
