Thediarygame For 01/10/2022: Doing the Laundry, Meeting a Friend, Moving out!

Dear Diary,
It's been such a long time since I confided in you about how my day went. I have been quite busy with work, Today has been busy for me, But I just couldn't keep avoiding you. For the first time in a long while, I was able to go out today, which is a very rear thing other than work. I was also able to visit a college I introduced to Steemit early this year that has been active for a while now. Do you want to know who? Don't skip then.
Today has been Saturday, and I had to sleep some extra hours as I was pressed down with work the whole week. When I woke up it was already 7:30 am. I headed to the bathroom to wash up and brush my teeth, next was Laundry. Aw! with the weekend comes, Laundry day.
Wearing clothes is a natural part of life thanks to Adam and Eve. I just can not imagine everybody running around naked, Lol. But one part of wearing clothing is that it requires washing. We all would be having world rankings for body odour if clothes were not washed, This is why we need to do laundry, or maybe, just maybe there wouldn't be anything of such at all.

I wouldn't go into much detail, but I would say it was straining to do the laundry. First, I picked out my dirty clothes that I'd gathered from the whole week, sorted them in order of whites, coloured and jeans, then washed them in that other.
Just when I thought I was done doing my laundry, my kid sister brought my uncle's dirty clothes for me to wash also, just imagine. Once I finished with the washing process, it was time to sun them on the line to drain the water.

It was about 11:00 am when I finally finished the washing and put them in to dry process. The next thing on agenda was to take bath, as soon as I was done, the only thing on my mind was breakfast.
After my meal, it was already past noon, I rested a while, before setting out to visit @ebidek at the bar he works in Gbarantoru. The Cube Lounge, which is quite the distance from my residence.

@ebidek is a friend of mine I was able to convince them to join the steel project about 10 months ago he has been inactive since after his introduction post, so I went to get his reasons.
Like every newbie who stops after a while, his complaints weren't different from any other. Though other than the support he yearned for, he felt some of the rules and operational parts such as markdowns application were difficult for him and his mobile phone was stolen. So I used myself as a reference to him and put him through what is needed of him, that it's a project worth having and he assured me he would give it a try again.

I spent some hours with him at his place as he was getting prepared for business hours and it was raining. Welcome to the rainy season I guess.
How time flies when you are having fun, when I got back home, it was already pasted 6 on the hands of the clock. Power shortage meant I had to put on the generator, and just when I thought it was time to rest, My uncle walked up to me and delivered the simple but strange utterance;
It's time to move, go and change your clothes.
The kids at home jumped in excitement as this meant we were to move to our new home and its time to pack our belongings.

This action took the whole night from me, after loading and offloading the moving truck, it was quarter to 12 already, and we went to bed only to start the next morning. Lord knows I am stressed out, but overall it was an interesting and fun filled day as Arsenal, a club fund of making me cry and have sleepless night is putting smiles on my face.
Overall, I am happy with my feats today and for meeting up with my friend. It was an awesome but stressful day.
Next on the list is to get a sound sleep as my eyes are already shutting down. I just couldn't without telling my darling diary how my day got on. Overall, my day went well, hope yours went in the same direction.

Wow, @shamie I must say I really did got aroused after you visited me and seeing how you made a write up out of your journey to my place makes it more interesting why I shouldn't just give up on steemit.
