Promotion Challenge - "Promoting Steemit Through Social Media"

Introduction

Good day dear members of Steem database, it's a pleasure to be writing here again and this marks my second post this new year in this community and on steemit at large. I'm glad I'll be participating in this contest as I just resumed my writing journey.

A lot of things happened in my absent from steemit but I still felt the pressure and anxiety of the crypto market, following the crash of FTX, many traders lost 90% of their investment and millions of dollars went stolen. With this event, it sets cryptocurrency backwards from its goal of Global adoption,

However, the mass majority of traders Still believes that crypto is gonna be the Future currency of the world and it will bring a lot of Nations together. I am patiently waiting for that day to come and I pray I'll witness it during my time. I don't want to take much time so I'll proceed with the contest.

Designing The E-Flyer

Before I start promoting steemit, i thought of quality illustration so I browse online and couldn't find any quality steemit promotion flyers, with that problem in mind, I decided to create my own E flyer and promote it on social media. Below are the steps I took in creating it..

Step 1

I downloaded the steemit official logo in PNG format and cropped out the steem database logo from a image since I couldn't find it online.

Step 2

I then created a fulid like design with dark red colour and poweclipped it inside the white rectangle.

Step 3

Then I went to my stock images directory on my PC and chose a female model pic and placed it at the right side of the flyer.

Step 4

I then created the title and wrote some small description about steemit platform and I also reduced the logos to fit inside the flyer.

Step 5

The design was looking plain so I added a shade of ash for the background colour and some circular shapes effects.

Step 6

I continued by placing more effects in the write-ups to give it a clean and professional look.

Step 7

Added some more write-ups and made sure the texts and logos are aligned on the center. With that, I finished my E-flyer.

Promoting Steemit

Promotion of content usually get more traffic and views online , that's why I decided to create the E-flyer so I can publish it on various social media platforms.

Promoting On Whatsapp

I use WhatsApp everyday so it's recommended I start from there, I recently created a group on recruiting aspiring steemians and decided to share it first there, luckily someone replied immediately which gave my joy as they are showing interest in it.

Promoting On Twitter

Twitter is the second most used social media in the world, it'll be unwise to promote Steemit there. I hope I get positive engagement on them though.

Promoting On Instagram

Instagram Is a great place to advertise products and online contents, so I posting on Instagram is a must when promoting steemit.

Promoting On Telegram

Telegram has different channels which users can choose to promote contents but not all channels supports that, so in order to promote on Telegram, make sure to read their rules and guidelines to avoid being removed or banned. I found a group that accepts that and they have lots of members in it.

Conclusion
I've really enjoyed making this design and participating in this contest, I look forward in posting more quality content in this community. Thanks for reading...
