Risk taking

Yesterday being the 18th day of September I took a bold step to another stage of my live and academics. Actually this step is a very big risk for me considering the fact that I am not financially ready, but it's better I take the risk than never taking the risk. A risk worth taking is worth achieving.

Last year November I graduated from National Deploma as a student of Civil Engineering federal polytechnic Nekede Owerri Imo state Nigeria, 2024 was supposed to be my Industrial Training (I.T) in one of the good construction company in Imo state but I was bridged dues to the sudden I'll health of my mother December last year Which lingered till April 2024 before her demise.

As a result of the delay I couldn't continue with the industrial training with the construction company, so I had to start up small POS business turn up to save money for her burial and for school also because I am supposed to go back to school for my Higher National Deploma (HND) this year November.

Unfortunately, the whole money I raised and saved was used for my mother's burial leaving me hopeless and with finance to continue with my educational pursuit but I didn't relent.
I started advertising my hair styling business and I got some customers who patronized me and I started saving again at least to purchase form which is almost coming to an end.

And yesterday I took a very big risk of emptying my whole savings to go purchase my HND form and I finally did. I know I'm left with nothing but I won't stop hustling and advertising my business. I don't regret taking this huge risk, though I would have used this money to at least get foodstuff but I know the importance of what I'm Chasing and I have a big dream which I want to achieve, that is why I don't regret it.

Form has been bought, I'm now waiting for admission which I know will be given to me without wasting of time, because I merit it. I believe my name will come out in the next admission list that will be released. I believe in myself.

Before you take a risk, be sure of while you are taking such risk, and if the risk is Worth it, also you have to believe in that risk that you will achieve your goal, don't take risk blindly, or because others did it when you don't have any prospect. Be careful and think it through before taking that risk, ask yourself if this risk I'm about to take will benefit me, will i get what I'm looking for and will I make it worth a while.

Take that risks today after thinking it through, it may seem difficult and uncomfortable, if it's worth it please don't delay it , push it through and you will be glad you did, just like me right now I'm very happy I did, I'm proud of myself. Waiting to continue my studies.
