The diary game | Celebrating my Birthday|| 18th July... Walk with me

I've been in the presence of some people who say and I quote;

There's nothing special about a birthday. It's just like every other day.

Well, I beg to defer, as birthdays are a very special day in the life of everyone and since they happen just once a year, it's a very big deal to me when I see people celebrating their special day.

My special day was yesterday being the 18th of July and it was a very memorable day.
The day began with committing my new year into God's hands. I wanted God to give me a word for the year as I didn't want to spend 365days dealing with everyday just as they come. After prayers I went to sleep only to wake up to a lot of messages and calls from friends, family members and people i knew. At some point my phone started hanging as the messages were coming in too fast.

I replied those I could at the moment because I didn't want anyone to feel left out, and then I posted a few pictures online as they were asking for it. Once I was done with that, I checked my work pages, answered a few things and then went offline.

A friend of mine had invited me out to celebrate my day and I was getting ready to head out. It took a while for me to freshen up but finally I was ready and off I went.

First we went to order a box of pizza and then straight to the ice cream section.

I chose coffee, vanilla and one other flavour I can't remember. Next we moved to the toppings section

A lot of toppings to pick from but I decided to take the chocolate chips toppings and a cracker. All these were then broken into the ice cream and mixed up.

While these processes were going on, we sat and had a wonderful conversation. I also took a picture of the place from my seat

Finally our orders were ready and we picked it up and headed to our various destinations.
On getting home, I unboxed my package and started eating after I had shared with my sister in the house. The ice cream was so delicious.

I tried sleeping afterwards, but I kept getting calls and text messages that I couldn't again so I stayed awake, which was a bit stressful for me, but what an amazing day I was having.

Dinner time came and my sister bought me a plate of rice. I switched off my lights and that day went by in peace.
