Diary Game 13th August 2024| Plunging into the unknown|| Heavy rewards come from obedience

Greetings fellow steem lovers. Welcome to my steem diary session for today.

For a while now, I've been experiencing writers block - that situation where it seems as though words and mind can't connect together to form decent writing's. Well that's been me for a while, but happily, I'm out of it.

Like I was saying, my day started quite early first with my personal devotion being done, I proceeded to study our daily devotional. It is always spirit lifting and nourishing and today's topic just coincided with what I've been thinking on for a while.
It spoke about how to bear fruits as believers and the important of fruit bearing. I was so blessed.

Next I came online. I have a lot of jobs this season to deliver and I love keeping to time. I reached out to some work colleagues, gave tasks, got feedback and so on. This continued till about some minutes past 9am. I had a meeting to anchor today and I needed to prepare for it.

He that prepares is wise.

Filled with all these quotes I prepared hard and when it was time for my meeting, I left the house.

The meeting was a super success and I'm glad I obeyed the instruction to hold it. You know, a lot of times we refuse to take certain lounges because we're unsure of what the outcome will be, if any at all so we don't and in not doing so miss out on golden opportunities that came disguised.

This is your cue to do that thing, take that leap, apply for that scholarship, take on that project. You might not hit the mark at the first try, but at least you'll learn something and that's worth the try.

Moving on,I headed home. It was already some minutes to 6pm and I was very hungry having not had time to eat a decent meal before I left the house. I stopped by at a makeshift roadside shop where they sell fries because I wanted to buy puff puff.

I had just recently discovered this joint and their puff puff tastes nice. They also sell fried sweet potatoes, Akara, yam and other things. You get the point.😁
On getting to her shop, she hadn't started frying yet, so I waited and In a few minutes the puff puff was ready and smoking hot. She started with it because she already had customers who wanted to buy it waiting.

I made my order for some worth 1.5 steem and in a few minutes I had my hot puff puff in my hand.

I had to hold myself until I got home to devour the puff. It was not an easy thing to do honestly as the sweet aroma kept wafting into my nostrils😂.

Anyways, I got home to my sister preparing some hot jellof rice. She was just getting started but the ingredients had been laid out.

I sat waiting, and chewing my puff puff while gisting with her about a loan company that kept persistently calling me to borrow loans.
The bible says that the borrower is a servant to the lender and I'm not ready for the stress it brings, besides it isn't even good to owe
