Hello steemians,

After making an appointment on the platform of the National Blood Transfusion Center in Tunis, it was finally time to go there. I insisted on taking my children, Yahya and Skander, to show them the importance of blood donation and to teach them a valuable lesson about selflessness. My blood donation was not voluntary, but was intended to enable a surgical operation to be carried out for my father.

Morale was high, and we laughed along the way. After about 20 minutes of driving, we arrived at the center. As soon as we arrived, I registered at reception. Completing the instruction sheet was an essential step to provide all the necessary information and ensure the safety of the donation.

Then, I headed to the blood pressure room to check my health. This was a crucial step to ensure I could donate blood safely.

Once this check was completed, I went to the donation room. My children were impatient and insisted on taking a photo in front of the sampling room.

We waited about a quarter of an hour before the process began. During this time, we talked and I explained to my children the process of donating blood and its importance. When it was time to begin, the nurse prepared the necessary materials and the collection began. The procedure lasted just over ten minutes.

During the whole process, I felt good and proud to be doing something useful. Seeing my own blood used to save lives was an emotional and rewarding experience.

I didn't go to the center voluntarily this time, but this experience made me realize the importance of this gesture. I made the decision to come back to the center at least once a year to continue donating blood.

As I left the room, my children were very happy for me. Yahya, my eldest son, read a sentence written on the door and said: “Blood donation is the best donation. » This sentence touched me deeply and strengthened my determination to make this gesture a habit.

This day was not only a valuable lesson for my children, but also a very proud moment for me. By showing them the importance of solidarity and self-sacrifice, I hope to have planted a seed that will grow in them and encourage them to help others in turn.

Semoga pak @kouba01 serta keluarga selalu sehat dan bisa membantu orang lain seperti mendonorkan darah. Banyak manfaat yang kita dapatkan dalam hal mendonorkan darah.

Thank you very much for the prayers and hopes! We hope that you are always healthy and can continue to share goodness. Blood donation provides many benefits, both for donors and recipients.

What a beautiful gesture Sir. You know, I usually have this feeling that donating your blood to others makes you a weaker vessel and might probably lose your life, but I think I was mis-informed.

Reading your post today has given me another view that humanity. This is more than an act of kindness. I wish your father a stronger health after the blood transfusion. Stay safe Sir!
