How are you all friends? I hope everyone is well, I am also very well by the grace of Allah. Today I am going to participate with you in the National wealth of my country competition organized by @shiftitamanna. For every country its national resources are of great importance. Any country can become bankrupt if these national resources are not used properly. Let's start with a brief discussion of these resources.
✅What is meant by the national wealth of a country?
The collective wealth of society is collectively called national wealth. Moreover, the qualitative characteristics of a nation's citizens, such as efficiency, innovation, technological know-how, etc., are included in national wealth.
✅ What are the significant national wealth in your country?
There are mainly two sources of national wealth of Bangladesh.
The first is nature-given
The second is man-made.
The land within the geographical boundaries of the country, everything above and inside the land is considered as the endowment of nature. Natural forests and forest plants-fruits-animals and birds, rivers and natural reservoirs and their fisheries, other aquatic animals and plants, underground water and all kinds of mineral resources are the national resources of the country given by nature.
Man-made resources are man-made resources created by the people of the country using, collecting and extracting natural resources with their labor and capital and transforming or transferring them. People cultivate the land and produce crops, fruits, flowers and plants. By cultivating fish in water bodies, extracting mineral resources and making them useful. Besides, individuals build roads, factories, machinery, vehicles, dams and bridges and various structures and produce various industrial products either on their own initiative or under the government's finance and management. In this way, the citizens of the country are engaged in the creation of various economic goods and services throughout the year, i.e., SB man-made wealth. These together are the national wealth of our country.
✅ Why is the domestic financial wealth not included in the national wealth?
We usually call money, land, houses, various necessary and tangible goods, silver and gold etc. as tangible assets, so they are not national assets, they are known as financial assets. Financial assets are liquid assets by which individuals hold their claim on real assets, so this Wealth is considered as a component of household wealth and not of national wealth. The prosperity of a country depends on the nature and quantity of national wealth of that country. The country that is rich in national resources has more chances of development.
✅What to do to prevent the maintenance and waste of national wealth?
To ensure that the measures taken by a country to preserve its national resources are not disturbed in any way.
Be aware that no one harms these resources. Inform the appropriate authorities if you come to know or see any such abuse. For example, illegal cutting of trees, poaching, etc. from protected forest areas will be considered as damage to national resources. Always strive for the development and growth of national wealth.
What can be done to prevent wastage of national resources:
Being conscious and diligent in preventing the misuse and wastage of national resources, such as not spending water, electricity, gas etc. provided by the state agencies unnecessarily and being frugal in their use. Waste is prevented if every citizen is aware and strives to conserve resources.
To sensitize every citizen about their actions through mass media to prevent wastage due to fear.
