Power ups! How often should it be done? 😑😩

It is an honor to come before this aweinspiring community, a community full of life, a community full of support.

I decided to appear before this community because of the complains newbies make concerning power up.

Many have complained about power ups and how often it should be done, but before I give a reply to that, I will love to explain what power up is and how beneficial it can be .

WHAT IS POWER UP

Power up can be explained as an act of locking up one's liquid steem from circulation.
This form of lock is done by storing one's liquid steem in form of steempower.

When a liquid steem is locked in form of steempower, it takes a month for it to be converted back to liquid steems again.

Steem power helps to increase the Influence of a steemian on the steemit platform.

WHY POWER UP?

This question have been asked severally by newbies, "why must we powerup"- they ask.

After receiving several questions from newbies, I decided to make this post that contains reasons why we ought to power up.

• IT BOOST STEEM ECONOMY:

Many newbies may not understand how power up helps to boost steem economy, probably because they haven't been student of the steemit crypto academy.

As I said earlier, powerups is just like locking a particular amount of steem from circulation.
And from demand and supply, we were made to understand that the moment a commodity become scarce in the market, it's price tends to increase.

Our powerups helps to keep steem coin from circulation in the market, and this helps to boost steem economy.

• IT ATTRACTS INVESTORS:

I have also heard some individuals ask that what concerns investors with their little power up.
It is true that investors are less concerned with their power ups, but remember the statement "drops of water makes a mighty ocean".

When we join forces together and engage in power ups, it will become mighty, and this thus boost steem economy and attracts investors.

I can remember vividly in our WhatsApp group, when we were discussing about steemit.
There's something an individual said that caught my attention.
He said despite the fact that he doesn't love the power up, but he must confess that power ups has helped to encourage a saving habit in him.

I totally agree with him on this one, power up has really helped me to encourage a good saving habit.
It has helped me to discipline myself and spend wisely.

I love the idea of power ups 💪.

Now that we have seen the importance of power ups, the question is how often should it be done.

Power up doesn't not have a specific rate at which it must be done, neither does it have a specific amount that must be powered up.

By engaging in power up, we show our support for steem economy and this increases our chances of getting more support.

We have 3 clubs that help shows the level of our support to steemit.

Newbies should note that club5050 is not a community on steemit platform.

The above screenshot is that of me and a newbie on WhatsApp, where he was telling me that he couldn't find a club/community named club5050.

At first I laughed within me, then I proceeded to explain to him what club5050 is.

Club5050 is a steemit project that implies that a steemian powers up 50% of his liquid earnings over the last 30days

This project implies that you power up 75% of your payouts in the last 60days (2months) and this can be calculated using this tool

By joining club75, this put you in a condition where you will be more favored when compared to members of club5050

Votes will not be guaranteed and will be determined by the quality of your posts, and what #club you are in.

The above statement was made by the steemit team which implies that the higher your club, the higher your rewards will be.

• CLUB100:

This club show full support to steem economy.
Joining this club means that for the past 3months(90 days) you haven't made any withdrawal from your steemit account.

I suggest that if possible, all members join this club, and we shall be surprised at the boost it will have on steem economy.

From my explanations, we have seen that power up don't have to be regular, but a steemian has to belong to one of the club.

We have also seen the importance of power ups, it helps us in every area.
