Woke up early today before the sun was fully out, even though it was still a little dark outside and the house was quiet, I was able to hear the sound of birds starting to stir but everything else was peaceful.

I took a moment to stretch my legs and joins and feel set and okay to begin my diary task and schedule, after I took some minutes to stretch and exercise a little, I brought out my phone and read my morning text from scriptures followed by a short prayer as part of my ritual as a Jehovah's witness.

Oh!!! that has become a habit for me now, just a few minutes to center myself and begin on the day ahead, it always helps me feel grounded spiritually and physically.

After my prayer I brushed my teeth and got to work on tidying up my room which I swept the floor quickly and wiped down some unclean surfaces, I'm use to starting my day in a clean environment because it will just makes everything feel more organised for me.

Then I made the bed and arranged the pillow and fold the bedspread properly, as part of the day schedule, I planned to wash it today but I had other things to finish up first before washing the bed spread.

I did not really want to waste time so I decided to take a bath next, the cool water was refreshing and I felt more energy in me, as a result I could feel the calmness of the morning and it was a perfect mode to start my day.
As the day went on I got busy with my schedule list and of the things on my schedule was to wash my bedspread.

I didn't have the chance earlier so I took it outside later in the afternoon when the sun was beginning to set, those bed spread has been kept in the corner of my room for a while now collecting a lot of dust, smiles..!. The fresh air was nnice and as the sun bathed everything I took the bedspread out and gave it a good wash.

You know that feeling of getting cold but once you deep you hands inside water it feels warmed, the water felt warm on my hands and it was satisfied to see it get clean again after washing. I left it hanging on line in to dry, doing this I felt good because I'm crossing that task off my day schedule list.

I also had some preparation to do to get myself set for Sunday meetinge, I checked my shoes only to discover one of the heels had torn, I didn’t want to be caught without the torn part being fixed, so I took it off my wall hanger and took it t my neighboring street where I could fine an expert shoe maker.

I kept the shoe with the shoe maker and left for some time coming back to see him working on it, It wasn’t a huge issue but I wanted to make sure they hold up. After a bit of work they looked good as new, oh!! It felt nice to have them ready for the service. After I successfully recover my shoe, I cross that out my day schedule working on the next one.

My next schedule. For the past few days my fan had been faulty and the heat was unbearable, we all know this season to be harsh and I couldn’t focus with the stuffiness in my room. So I finally took the fan to a technician that same yesterday to get it repaired, it was a bit of a hassle but when I picked it up I could already feel the difference.

Immediately after I approached the shop.

It worked like new and I felt relieved even as of this moment where I'm writing my diary, I'm enjoying the sweet blow of a fresh air and calmness, It’s amazing how something like a fan can make such a difference in how comfortable I feel at home.

On my way back from fixing the fan, I stopped by the shop based of food stuffs, I was thinking about making egg soup for dinner so I picked up some fresh ingredients. I love the process of picking out the right stuff and seasoning everything just right, as I walked back home I could already imagine the smell of the soup filling up my apartment .
