Should We Always Put Our Lives In a Hurry
One thing that most people fail to understand is the fact that "life is not a bed of roses, neither it is full of thorns" which simply means everyone one life is full of ups and downs I have heard several people saying life is an endless ocean.
Most people believe in rushing things most especially travelers which is not supposed to be so. It is always advisable for someone who has an appointment to catch up to embark on his or her journey earlier enough than trying to put him or herself in a hurry when driving on a highway because anything can happen that can cause the life of humans.
Last week, when I took a trip to the eastern part of Nigeria, I was opportune to enter public transportation. In the vehicle, 95% of the passengers were pleased (happy) with the way the driver was handling the vehicle. The driver was carefully driving all passengers to their destination without running speed. 5% of the remaining passengers were unhappy with the driver, insulting and authorizing the driver to run at speed.
The attitude of those pressurizing the driver to run the vehicle with speed so they could arrive at their destination on time causes an argument in the vehicle that almost leads to a fight. The youngest person among those who were telling the driver to run the vehicle at speed acted in a disrespectful way which got almost everyone angry and led to stopping him alone on the road.
It is said, that virtue and honor are considered the same thing as they both represent integrity, respect, and adherence to moral principles. For us to live with honor we must act in a way that upholds truth, fairness, and respect for others, which the young man who was forced out of the vehicle acted disrespectfully and was forced out of the vehicle.
