Good practice for commenting. I needed a little prodding and this #wewrite course is just the thing to help me increase my focus by commenting on someone else's post.
The Newcomers community was especially fun.
I really wanted to make these new people feel welcome. Their enthusiasm is so refreshing. I tried to find something they wrote that I could pick out and complement. And if they mentioned writing as one of their interests to direct them to some writer's groups by posting the links.

The posts in the camping club were mostly photos, scenery and vacation spots. Some of the posts were quite good. And I was able to say something about the photos that I liked. I copied and posted in the comment the photos from the person's collection of photos that I wanted to specifically talk about. The colors, the depth perception, the focus the objects of interest, etc. Some posts were not following the guidelines and would do better posting in a different group. I tried to redirect the person.

The Italy Group had a lot of different posts. I chose to comment on ones that I may be a little familiar with the subject. Due to Google Translate different languages are not that much of a problem. One of the posts was not very good. I tried to encourage the person that it can take practice to get really good. Viewing other's posts can help too.

I was very happy to comment. And received replies. It wasn't difficult but did require some thoughtfulness. To treat others the way I would want to be treated. I will be doing more commenting now that I've had a little taste of it. Nice...
