Contest - My Childhood!!![Season 2]
me as the little lawyer
me in my father's provision store
Did I enjoyed my childhood? Yes.. I did.
Do I wish to go back to childhood? Yes I do!!
I just wish there is a vehicle that can take me back to childhood. I miss those moments where the only thing I do was just to wake up and go to school, come back, eat, sleep, and play with friends.
As of that time, I neither think of what to eat, drink, or wear. Electricity, water, and even my medical bills were not my responsibilities to pay. The love and care from parents was massive. Siblings and other relatives showed love unconditionally. The mind was free and pure towards everything. No hatred, no enemies, and no burdens. All I knew was love and friendship. Was looking young, fresh and handsome.
Although I'm happy and comfortable with adulthood, childhood was more interesting. Now I have many responsibilities to take. Clothes, food, shelter, medical and even electricity bill are all my responsibilities. The world has changed and love seems to be conditional unlike the past. I had an amazing childhood. My parents made it beautiful for me. May our parents remain blessed and have peace wherever they are.
receiving price in school
This question takes me back to 2nd Aug, 2010. It was a day that would forever remain young on my mind. So many things that made me happy took place. First of all, I want you to understand that it was a speech and price giving day in school. Parents and friends were invited to witness the event and the school planned so many programs which include drama, debate, quiz, and many more.
I still remember some of my point when debating on the effect of technology on the life of children. I also can remember how I participate and acted as a lawyer in the drama that was perfumed. It was amazing seeing my parents clapping for me when I was on the stage. After the drama, it was time to call and give prices to the best 3 students in every class. Guess what, I came first in our class and I was given mathematics textbook as a gift.
After the whole scenario, we went home with my parents and from their faces, they were happy and proud of me. That evening, my mum prepare a full chicken for me. Just before I could finish eating, my dad brought me a bicycle as a gift. Talking about the hugs I received, hmm, I can only imagine them.
childhood memory
Back then in school, I was the most popular student. Even the kids in the nursery section knew me. Sometimes I wonder how they managed to know me, but then I was a guy to participate in almost everything in school. Being it sport, drama, quiz, debate, sanitation, or reading competition. More to that, I was among the best in my class.
My popularity gave me a lot of friends and you won't believe that till today, my best friend's are the once I met in school. We grew together and we know much about ourselves. In summary, friends is something I never lacked as a child.
Who would love to grow in a place where there are no social amenities like good schools, electricity, hospitals, water, and good roads? Who on earth would prefer to live where opportunities are rare? Who would prefer to reside where the rate of civilized people is minimal? The answer is no one. We all want good life for ourselves.
Trust me, those in the village are hoping for their kids to come to the city. And those in the city never dream of going back to stay permanently in the village. The reason is, village life hardly give assurance of good and sustainable life. I believe we are what we are today because we did not live our entire life in the village. In conclusion, it is better to grow in the city.
I now invite @chant, @waterjoe, and @josepha to participate.
