Photographer of the year 2024 by Belgian friends

Ranked as the photographer of the year 2024 by my recent guests from Belgium was a great honor to me. I met Phillippe and Bruno last year in January on their photographic trip to Uganda and were so much into bird watching. Since I was already guiding and leading guests in the same field, I joined them in Mgahinga national park. This park has various species of birdlife including endemic ones. I had my pair of binoculars and a Nikon D5200 with a 55-300mm lens while they had big lenses with camouflage lens coats.
We were so lucky to spot Ross' turaco and other beautiful species and everyone had to capture using own equipments. After the activity we went back and they requested me to join them for dinner for the great work I had done in spotting them birds. As we were on the veranda viewing through the shots, we all displayed them and started comparing.
Guess what, they found some great photos on mine and they were all surprised. From them we became great friends who even follow each other on Instagram.

Last month, Bruno sent me a message that they had a meeting about me ranking with other photographers they know and I was ranked highly following the photos I had taken. This was a good message to me! I couldn't imagine how this happened. They had to send me a photo of themselves holding their phone while on my Instagram page. These are some of the photos they considered and I'm always happy to share such good news with you.
