Food support for the needy families in Uganda
Yesterday was a new life for some families in my community, happiness filled their hearts after receiving some food. Due to heavy rains received recently, food produce yielded poorly and most of the families that depend on farming got hit up by hunger. Additionally their small families have now increased due to the school holidays meaning the children who would be at school are now all at home with parents which increase the food consumption.
As most of you remember how I was distributing food during the pandemic period, @elkezaksek was helping me support and bring happiness on their faces. She has done more of her efforts to think about the lives of people who are starving and donated us the food again.
We met some good years back when I was still young, and because we kept in touch while trusting me, I now call her my parent.
As we are still in rainy seasons, many more families keep struggling to get food to feed on. @elkezaksek is doing a fundraising for it through steem and donations.
