RE: Contest | 25-Word-Comment - Monkey Business | Upvote - 6 Steem
The ancient comment section. A monkey leaps in. Ka-ching! Sound of an upvote.
Edit: Oh my bad, I thought I was supposed to write LESS than 25 words. Well, I keep talking then. Sometimes I wonder if I just continue to press buttons I'll eventually end up writing Shakespeare. You know, like that monkey business with the typewriters.
Upvotes with you make a sound? If you receive them or if you give them 🤔 It sounds annoying if not disturbing if you do that 40 times or more per day. Are you?
Man, I wish I was getting 40 upvotes a day. Not complaining, just saying. That's one of those luxurious problems for the people down at the golf club. I'd let people ring my bell 24/7.
:-)
You can give 40 yourself. If 100 SP it's 20 of 100% - 40 of 50% and do on... If you give only 1%...
The question is if this is aboit giving a valuable upvote or having a high CSI and pretend you are supportive.
If you write 40 posts per day I can give you 40 upvotes, even 80 with both my accounts or 120 if my community votes too... I will be busy upvoting you the entire day.
Start writing!
...and we'll see my CSI is 0
Don't threaten me with a good time!!! :-)
But seriously, I barely understand the system as it is. I wasn't even aware something changes the more you upvote. Still a nice way to gauge how many people actually read your stuff, or like it rather.
Also I'm mostly just joking around, so I'm not trying to step on any toes intentionally. The post was more like a riff on a famous haiku about a frog jumping into a pond. Plop! Sound of the water. That said, I'm not the greatest of communicators. I'm not trying to coerce anybody, but I'm thankful for being engaged.
I feel like I'm writing myself into hole. Jeesh. By the way, I am actually working on something but it's not amazing.
You are not writing yourself in a hole. I like reading you, don't forget to tag me and keep an eye on SCB.
Joking around is fine with me it fights the boredom. My guess is we all, this platform, have to get used to the old fashioned writing style or straight forward.
Haiku, I believe it died and creative writing follows. ☹️
