Steemit Engagement Challenge S5-W4: My 5 senses

Hello fellow steemians
This is my post for the contest titled "My 5 senses"
In this contest I would be talking about what I experience today based on my five senses which are my eyes, ears, nose, skin and tongue.

INTRODUCTION
Everyday, our senses all working together makes living easy. Bringing together what I see, touch, feel, smell, and taste is indeed a great opportunity I'd love to explore.

What did you see?

The sun rose early this morning. And came along with a lot of hope.

Waking up this morning, we realized our cooking gas had finished and had to be filled so we could prepare some meal for the day. So I was asked to go to the nearest filling station and get the gas filled.

Upon getting there I realized the filling station was shut down due to gas scarcity. I was then directed by someone to a nearby roadside gas shop which was were I was finally able to fill my gas.

I saw so many person's ahead of me also waiting for their gas to be filled.

It wasn't a nice experience cause I had to wait for more than 2 hours before it got to my turn to get my gas filled.

What did you hear?

While still seated at the gas shop I heard a lot. Like group discussions and discussions from friends and even strangers who just happened to meet here for the first time.

In Nigeria, places like these are the best places to get any information ranging from family issues up to even national issues.

I overheard a man making a joke of how he had drank so much that he almost fell into a ditch

What did you smell?

After filling my gas we were set to prepare the meal for the day. Of course, as we all know the process of waiting for a meal to get ready can be really exhausting.

But anyway, I had no option than to wait. At a point, I was almost choked up with the nice aroma from the food being prepared. It was a really pleasant one.

What did you taste?

Having waited for so long for this nice smelling meal. At last the food came and I finally got the opportunity to get a taste of it.

It was a wonderful experience indeed. Getting to finally taste what I had been smelling for this long. It was really delicious. My day had just started perfectly.

What did you touch?

Going through this post so far, you could say I am having a wonderful day. But this was not all as I had some more fun today.

I decided to take a little walk. On my way, I took a canoe cause I had to cross a river to get to my destination. While on the boat, I deep my finger into the water. And the feeling was totally awesome.

CONCLUSION
Our sense of touch is very vital to us as humans it completes every other feeling. What ever you smell, hear, taste, or see is never complete until you get a touch of it.
