What Betterlife than a good power up?

Well I am powering up today as I am getting very close to the 1,200 staked Steem mark. What is so great about this? Well in January I stated as my Steemit goal for this year to hold 1200 staked Steem by December. But frankly the year started out quite badly for me, first of all ACTIFIT no longer sends to Steemit so I lost those daily votes, and then, and most importantly, I really slacked off on my interest in writing. I just couldn't find anything interesting to write about, so my account was just moving cents a day.

So I figured that a 1,200 Steemit goal was just flattering myself I would not reach it. So I reset it to 1,000 and just a few weeks later I again reset it to 800, my confidence was gone. but then, and I think it was during the UEFA CL that I made a game report and got a good vote from one of the @steemcurator accounts. That good payoff worked wonders with my confidence and I started writing more, it seems the football reports I make usually get a good amount of votes and every so often I get one of the big votes. So anyway I reached 800 staked Steem a couple of months ago, so I again reset my goal, this time to 1,000. Then about a month ago I reached 1,000, but decided against again resetting my goal.

But now after just a month I am incredibly close to getting to 1,200 staked Steem. If I do get there, which I have few doubts of not getting there, I will have reached my original goal, and if I make a few good posts between now and the end of the year I might well go a lot above the original goal. So you see, actually putting in some work on Steemit does work. OK, 1,200 Steem is not a big deal, but I have worked for it, so I feel just great.

So there you have it, I now have 1,177 staked Steem. Will I reach 1,200 by year's end? Well, just from curation I receive about 0.035 Steem every day, we are short of a little less than 100 days for the year to end, so with what i get from curation I should be short of less than 20 Steem to reach 1,200. So 90 odd days to make 20 Steem, should be easy to get there, but I do have to work a little for it. I say I do make it.
