Steem for a betterlife - My Daily Walk - Friday

I decided to change my daily walk routine and took a different way today. This new route is about twice as long and I ended up by a part of the beach that I had not been to in quite a while. I noticed this boat, which is a ferry and makes a daily trip to the bay Islands so I took a picture.

But then I noticed something new, well let me explain. This part of town used to be the center for tourists during Easter, fine beaches and a lot of restaurants and night life. But after we were hit by Hurricane Mitch in 1998 the beaches were lost and the neighborhood fell on very bad times. But in the ensuing years two big and nice hotels were built in this area. I really did not know it, but both hotels built wave breakers into the sea and this has permitted the beach to make a comeback.

As you can see, it is really quite a big beach. At least a Kilometer in length and probably 70 or more Meters wide. I think it actually looks perfect. I am not much of a beach man myself, I can't even swim, but I used to go around when I used to drink.

As for that horse I have no idea what it is supposed to mean, probably one of the hotel owners thought it looked cool, and it does.
