Power Up for August

As I have told you, at the beginning of the year I set myself a goal of reaching 1,200 staked Steem by the end of the year. Due to several circumstances I thought I would be unable to do this, so I revised my goal to 800 by year's end (I started 2024 with around 500 SP). Things were still quite slow until about three months ago, when I started getting some very sizable votes, so I again revised my goals, this time I increased it to 1,000 SP by year's end.

And now, halfway through August, I am very close to reaching those 1,000 SP, thanks again to some very nice votes. So now I have decided not to set any more goals for this year, whatever comes, comes. By the way I am not at 1,000 yet, just very close, I might not even make it.

This is what my wallet looked like today, when I logged on. So I will proceed first of all to collect my rewards.

So at this moment I have a stake of 960 SP plus I have around 22 Steem to power up, which I will proceed to do.

Now I have 982 Steem powered up, still not 1,000, but not even being optimistic, I frankly don't believe I will not get to 1,000 before the year ends. So at least on Steemit I will be able to say I have reached my 2024 goal. I know 1,000 is not really that much, but I guess it is not that bad either, plus how do I know Steem will not pump and go to All Time Highs? That would make my account very valuable indeed.
