Now a Cold Front

This is the street view from my porch. I live in a higher zone so water logging is not much of a problem still the street is flooded. Fortunately once it stops raining the water flows quickly. What we are having today is not a storm it is a cold front. No idea why they call it a cold front, very wet front would be a better description. Right now we have about eleven hours of non stop rain. The town where I live, in the city center is mostly flooded.

This picture is actually of a video that was sent to me via Whatsapp, I could find no way to upload it to my computer. This part of town is about eight blocks from where I live, and I usually include it in my daily walk routine. I guess I would have to swim if I go there now.

Of course this complicates the situation even further Tropical Storm Sara left us with a lot of non passable roads and streets, this will only make it worse. I guess traffic will be unmanageable next week, as tomorrow we still have more rain and then it will be the weekend.

And then it seems next week we will have more rain, so things will not be dry for quite a while. At least I have heard of no victims, but there has been a huge loss in crops and also cattle. Plus of course a very big amount of trees that have fallen. All of this is terrible for the country. On top of that Mexico beat us 4-0 last night and now we have to play Bermudas for a spot in the CONCACAF Gold Cup. On paper Bermuda looks easy, but it never turns out that way. Yes, football always interests me.

Ok, I know this has nothing to do with Steem for a Betterlife, but it is what we are facing now, so let's say this is my Diary Game for today.
