A day full of emotions

I sit for a moment to reflect on the passing of time to clear my thoughts and take note of my day's activities.

Currently, I am at my son's house spending a few days in another country. Here I feel that routines change when you are not in your own home.

After my personal grooming routine I decided to oxygenate myself a bit by going for a walk. At approximately 7.00 am, my husband and I set out on our way through the urbanization where the house is located.

Me siento un momento a reflexionar acerca del transcurrir del tiempo para aclarar mis ideas y tomar nota de mis actividades del día.

Actualmente, me encuentro en casa de mi hijo pasando unos días en otro país. Aquí siento que las rutinas cambian cuando no estás en tu propia casa.

Después de mi rutina de aseo personal decidí oxigenarme un poco saliendo a caminar. Aproximadamente a las 7.00 am, mi esposo y yo emprendimos el camino por la urbanización donde está situada la casa.

There are many green areas and the weather is very pleasant at that time, we walked for about an hour and covered 5 km. Later it is not convenient because the heat becomes unbearable.
They had announced a thunderstorm and I was very surprised that the sun was shining and that most of the people who are already used to these events did not pay much attention to the warnings.

Hay muchas zonas verdes y es muy agradable el clima a esa hora, caminamos alrededor de una hora y recorrimos 5 Km. Más tarde no es conveniente porque el calor se vuelve insoportable.
Habían anunciado tormenta y me llamó mucho la atención que el sol brillaba y que la mayor parte de la gente que ya estan acostumbrados a estos eventos no le hicieron mucho caso a las advertencias.

I have always admired nature, I am impressed by these immense trees clinging to the earth, with their twisted trunks and roots advancing around them.

I feel it is a representation of our life.

We are born, we grow and our appearance transforms, those branches are our arms that work, help, create, embrace.

We put down roots in this world and so one after another we leave footprints.

Desde siempre he admirado la naturaleza, me impresionan estos inmensos árboles aferrados a la tierra, con sus troncos retorcidos y las raíces avanzando a su alrededor. Siento que es una representación de nuestra vida.

Nacemos, crecemos y nuestra apariencia se va transformando, esas ramas son nuestros brazos que, trabajan, ayudan, crean, abrazan. Echamos raíces en este mundo y así uno tras otro vamos dejando huellas.

Usually, when we go for a walk we follow the same route, but this time we decided to take a different path than the one we already knew and in the end we got lost, that was a reason to laugh and fortunately a short time later the GPS guided us back home.

It fills me with peace to see the vegetation, the extensive groves and some animals in complete freedom.

Generalmente, cuando salimos a caminar hacemos el mismo recorrido, pero esta vez decidimos tomar un camino diferente al que ya conocíamos y al final nos perdimos, eso fue motivo de risa y afortunadamente poco tiempo después el GPS nos guio de regreso a casa.

Me llena de paz, ver la vegetación, las extensas arboledas y algunos animalitos en plena libertad.

The route was set by an APP I have on my phone that allows me to create my own challenges and share them. The truth is that it is very nice to start the day like that. This allows me to charge myself with energy.

La ruta me la marcó una APP que tengo en el teléfono y que me permite crear mis propios retos y compartirlos. La verdad es que resulta muy agradable comenzar así el día. Eso permite que me cargue de energía.

At noon I agreed with a childhood friend to meet again and celebrate life. These are endearing moments where you realize that, although time goes by, true friends always remain. Together we ate, toasted and laughed a lot remembering different episodes of our lives.

A mediodía quedé de acuerdo con una amiga de la infancia para reencontrarnos y celebrar la vida. Son momentos entrañables donde te das cuenta de que, aunque el tiempo pase, los verdaderos amigos siempre se mantienen. Juntas comimos, brindamos y reímos mucho recordando diferentes episodios de nuestras vidas.

So the afternoon came and it was time to meet again with my grandson. It is my favorite thing to do every day. Knowing that he is coming home and playing with him. That's when the magic happens. He is two years old and we have a lot of fun playing together.

His imagination at that age is infinite, so we can do anything he can think of. So we become little animals and then astronauts and the best thing is when his bike turns into a dirt bike. That's what he likes the most

Así llegó la tarde y el momento de reunirme de nuevo con mi nieto. Es lo que más me gusta hacer cada día. Saber que va a llegar a casa y dedicarme a jugar con él. En ese momento surge la magia. El tiene dos años y nos divertimos mucho jugando juntos.

Su imaginación a esa edad es infinita, así que podemos hacer cualquier cosa que se le ocurra. Así que nos convertimos en animalitos y luego en astronautas y lo mejor es cuando su bicicleta se transforma en una moto de cross. Eso es lo que más le gusta

As it begins to get dark and after we all gather at home, we decide to go for a walk as a family. It is important to strengthen family ties and create moments that will later become memories.
