I can only say that if you power up, you get support from curators which more than make up what you contribute. The choice is definitely your though 👍 I would be very sorry if you don't get your due reward for such an imaginative post.
You're absolutely right, but in the early days it doesn't make sense to return the reward you get, because then you didn't really get anything.
On the other hand, if you make a lot of quality content and you already have a larger balance, it is quite natural that 20, 30, etc. of that per month can be power up. So it's obvious that sooner or later I will also delegate.
Otherwise, I am very happy about this comment you wrote, I am glad that you read it and liked my writing. I wrote as part of my pleasant hobby, so if I didn't get any voteup, for example, but I get comments like the ones you wrote, I'm also very happy about that.
By the way, I haven't withdrawn a single steem so far in my stay of 8 months on this site, but if you see my status as club75 that's because I started a few contests and paid members from my wallet. No harm in powering up because you get a reasonable return in form of curators' votes, but as I said before, the choice is entirely yours. My best wishes.
