How I Spent My Day With Family

---

Right from time my family has always been the best thing that has happened to me. No matter how much time we spend apart when ever we come together as family we make the best of every second we spend together.

For a while now I've not seen my dad because he is not always around, he travels far and wide for business trips and I'm most times in school so as my brother. My mom passed away some time in September 2020 due to an ailment ( diabetes).
May Her Soul Rest In Peace .
In Nigeria my country, universities are on strike due to non payment of their staff salaries so at the moment federal universities are on hold.

My brother schools in another state in the country and they are not on strike so I decided to pay him a visit since my dad is not around. It was indeed a remarkable day for me and my brother and I will always remember that day. I travelled interstate roughly 3hours drive because we school in different states.
When I got to the car park he came to the park to pick me and took me to his house

When we got to his place I freshened up and he took me to the mall to buy my toiletries and some fresh fruit

Afterwards we discussed at length on how my day was and how much he has missed me. We also discussed about his school and how he was keeping up with it.
He told me about how his final year project was stressing him out real bad .
We later went out to buy noodles because we forgot to buy it in the mall then we took nice photos and made short videos for memories

We were catching up on old times. How we all used to be together and eat from one plate before our mom's demise ,so we decided to video call our dad who was away on a business trip to share in the nice moment we were having together, he was so happy to see us together happy.

He later sent us some money to take ourselves out later at night which we did. My elder brother invited his girlfriend over ,we then went to and exotic eatery to have a nice time. It was more like a welcome feast for me

I really enjoyed myself with my family and i hope to do this more often. Lest I forget, my brother and his girlfriend are sweet souls they took good care of and I do not regret any moment with them
