Steemit Engagement Challenge S9-W1: Dream Couple by @dagonmaster

Okay. The topic is "Dream Couple". First of all, I am married. I am so sorry for anyone who was expecting me to become a couple (just saying). Secondly, I dreamt of becoming a couple with my wife somewhat 9 years ago. Can you guess how I met her first? Yes, you guessed it correctly. My alma mater, Sabaragamuwa University. I met her on a gloomy and rainy day in Belihuloya. She looked like a silver lining among dark clouds with her glowing smile, yet so shy about talking with me.

Me being so obsessed with her smile, wanted to spend more time with her, wanted to ask about her whereabouts and get to know her, reached her and said hello. She greeted back. Oh my lord! I can still remember how I felt at that exact moment. I embrace that moment with a pounding heart. However though she became my princess at first sight, It took her some time to start speaking with me like a friend. Initially, it was just smiles and then I was able to asked her number (It wasn't that hard guys). And then my little messages with sending greetings and sharing about whereabouts and her tiny tiny little replies filled my day apart from the academics and other university works.

We studied the same course at the university so I was able to spend most of my time with her. Somehow things were changing very slowly. Her replies became larger. My messages got even longer. Messages became voice calls. Eventually, we had step aside from the friend zone and we went on the first date. We were happy but sometimes overloaded with academics and found somehow to hang out together. Like many other couples, I proposed to her to become my fiancee on the day of our social party (It is much like a prom). So she accepted. We became a couple.

Fast forward several years, and we are married and blessed with a handsome boy. We married three years ago at the age of 28 and 27, so I honestly don't have any perspective on older marriages or early marriages. Just my view is that if law enforcement is allowing it and if the couple believes they can survive alone, then there should not be any major issues. But it is a sentimental and lovely look in the eyes of parents and has blessings in any marriage.

My fiancee, my wife, my friend whatever way I think of her she had a huge impact on my life. We made decisions together, we exchanged bits of advice we helped each other well before the marriage and after. I have never had any issue with her beauty. She is pretty like a flower, affectionate for me like a mother to both my boy and me. We sailed rough seas of economics together, and thunderstorms of corona crisis together we are currently travelling through the milky way of parenthood together, which is always adventurous. I believe we have a much better understanding with strong and direct communication between us.
