Steemit Engagement Challenge S9-W1: Dream Couple
My life and my journey being married isn't dreamy. It isn't perfect nor magical. It is true, genuine and practical.
Back when I was young I always had this idea of a dream couple. Growing up in a broken family made me crave of having the perfect partner. I end up broken hearted and disappointed. With the many relationship I have been I was so desperate to find my one true love. But as they say You have to kiss a lot of frogs before you meet your prince.
Well my prince didn't have a grandous entrance when I met him. He was this typical handsome guy you see where you just fall in love at first sight.
You see he was an ideal guy you see on tv, a sweet, loving, caring and a gentle man. But honestly I wish everything will be the same as you get married. Well things changed gradually as you stay longer together. Like any other couples we fight about so many things, well specially money.
But what makes it a genuine relationship is the fact that though we hate each other so much we still remain in love.
He is my ultimate enemy, he forces me to laugh when I'm angry. Makes me eat when I don't want to and even makes me skip my work just to have a date with him. He isn't dreamy at all but he still makes my heart skip a beat.
We have been in a long distance relationship for a long time, because of his work we have to sacrifice being far from each other but God is always there to make our relationship spark despite the distance.
I am annoyed with him being my husband but he is the greatest father. I may be angry at him countless times but he is absolutely the most generous father to his kids and hate him for that cause he spoils the kids. But above all He is my dream man and we are a dream couple.
